Dr. Jawairriya-Abdallah-Shahid earned her Doctor of Education degree from the State University of New York at Binghamton, after completing the Educational Theory & Practice program and successfully defending her dissertation entitled, “Veiled Voices: Muhajabat in Secular Schools”. She received her Master’s in Elementary Education with a concentration in Reading from the State University of New York at Cortland where she also acquired her Bachelor’s in Education with a concentration in Psychology of the Exceptional Child.
